Pete Brown is the author of eight food and drink books including World’s Best Cider (co-authored with Bill Bradshaw) and The Apple Orchard. He blogs at petebrown.blogspot.com, writes regularly for drinks trade and consumer press and is a frequent contributor to BBC Radio 4’s Food Programme. He has judged many drinks competitions and also acts as a consultant to the beer and cider industries.

For several years Paul Foulkes-Arellano has been Chairman of the Design and Packaging judges for the International Spirits Challenge. He has chaired the Design & Packaging judges for each of our challenges on past occasions, bringing together judges from client companies, from the design industry and from global packaging suppliers.
Paul has worked in branding innovation, specialising in beer, wines and spirits since 1989. Notably he ran drinks branding agency Wren & Rowe for 11 years, and is currently in charge of Client Programmes at Precipice Design.
Paul has travelled the world from South Korea to Peru on drinks innovation projects and is proud to be a Knight of the Port Wine Brotherhood.
